Hi all,

Recently saw your recruitment ad in the ddo forums and popped lesliewest_guitargod a line, copied below for everyone else to see Smile

1) Are you at least 30 years of age (exceptions may be made for those younger, on a case by case basis, so just be honest!)
Yes.. over 40 is about as close as I want to admit though

2) If you have a forum name on the official DDO forums, please provide it.
Jumonis

3) How would you best describe your playstyle while in party with others?
Depends on the party and the life I’m on. As a rogue I tend to run ahead to try and get the traps before the party stumble into them, as a sorc I hang back and go with the glass cannon approach, as a druid I simply run around the group killing things (I love druids). It really does depend on the make up of the group. Play the part of shepherd where needed.

4) Why would you like to join Tyrs Paladium?
My guild is a nice place but there is a real lack of EU players. At best I get to run with one other player (when he’s on), 99% of the time I’m either solo or pugging. Looking for a guild that actually has eu players so that I can play with others on a more regular basis.

5) What are your expectations as a member of Tyrs Paladium?
Fairly low expectations really, hoping to be able to actually run with some guildies on a regular basis – pugging can be fun but its always nicer when you can run with at least some people you know.

6) Please tell us a little about yourself and your prior gaming experience.
Began roleplaying in secondary school (my old redbox D&D), held out against AD&D for a long time (Even to the point of playing the original gold box immortals, the joys of PP), moved over to Warhammer FRPG then sideway into Call of Cthulhu and Paranoia. Over the years tried various systems before dropping back to AD&D 2nd Edition. Moved upto 3rd Edition then 3.5, never quite migrated to 4th. Played most RPG’s I could find on computers, from the TSR Gold Box series through to Might & Magic and Wizardry. These days don’t get much tabletop in but currently playing Skyrim, Two Worlds, Kingdoms of Amaluar, and Witcher 2. Probably have most RPG’s out there and always looking for new interesting ones to add. Been playing DDO now for a year and a half and still enjoying it as much as ever.

7) Briefly describe your most memorable moment while gaming.
DDO - Surviving my first Tempest Spire solo – was only on hard but it was quite an achievement at the time and I was very impressed (until a friend sent me a screen shot showing him soloing it on elite in 28 minutes – I only managed hard in 34)
Non-DDO – Using a wand of wonder as a last resort before being crushed by rampaging orc horde and the party howling with laughter as I turned purple and my robes turned to grass. My poor mage was last seen being dragged off in a cage and being poked with swords by very bemused shaman.

8) How did you hear about Tyrs Paladium?
Forums and the occasional appearance in pugs.

9) Do you agree to abide by our Guild Rules?
Always.

10) List any other significant information here to be considered.
Play around 30 hours a week (slightly excessive..), mostly weekday evenings (GTM, between 7pm and 11pm), usually a few hours on Saturday and Sunday depends on other commitments. I work in IT and do out of hours support (mostly by telephone) so rarely on voice but try to be for raids. Fairly easy going, happy to help, no real issues with farming but prefer just to run all quests, know most heroic ones quite well, hardly touched the epic stuff (need to at some point..). Have a number of testing toons sitting in meridia (mostly 16’s and 17s), a primary toon (working his way through past lives, currently on life 24, Favoured Soul) and a secondary toon (working his way much slower through lives, 3 at a time, currently on life 6, Druid).

Anyhows, hopefully would be a good fit, main toon is currently 6th level, secondary is 14th, happy to run with everyone and anyone.

Huzzah, more EU players! I'd imagine my characters are far, far too low level to run with yours, but it's always nice to have more people about.

never assume Wink

Currently have Jumonis down at level 6, hopefully will make 7 this evening then will be right in level with Cerissa.
Was running Waterworks last night with two different groups of level 4 & 5 's (they needed a healer) so guess I'm in reach of two of your toons Smile

Have about 5 character spaces currently free to, so can always pop up level 4 and level 7 toons on demand to run with
I like to TR at least once a month (sometimes twice), so I'll always be around the low levels sooner or later Smile

Somehow still enjoying the heroic content, and running all the quests rather than always farming has the nice side effect of netting lots of TP Smile

Well, then! I look forward to running with you at some point in the future! Very Happy (Might be a bit of a delay on that, though, as visitors, trips and other "kids' school holidays" stuff is keeping me preoccupied and away from DDO for the next few weeks.)
