I'm almost 50 and my wife is in her mid 40's.

Neither of us have a forum name.  My handle is @fugaziness and my wife is @noalove1
 
3) How would you best describe your playstyle while in party with others?
 
Historically, I have played ranged types, usually dps.  On Neverwinter I'm playing a TR so I'll wait for the tank to grab aggro and move in and start dps'ing.  As for my wife, she is totally new to games so she just tries to keep up and keep the heals up best she can.
 
4) Why would you like to join Tyrs Paladium?
 
Found your guild on the Neverwinter forums and then visited your website and read the rules.  Were looking for fun without "Frat kid" talk.  I just retired from the Marines after 30 years and appreciated what you said about the Military.  My wife really liked what you said in the rules about "leave no one behind".  "Move as fast as the slowest player".  Thats been making her gaming experience difficult.  Its having to rush through the dungeons and so we find ourselves just doing a lot of Foundry's and quests.  
 
5) How do you feel about grouping in game for dailies and or HEs in IWD?
 
Not sure what HE's are or IWD's but we have no problem with grouping, especially with guildies that are cool with less experienced players.  Neither of us have been playing Neverwinter long.  Lot's to learn.
 
6) Please tell us a little about yourself and your prior gaming experience.
 
Me: started 30+ years ago on table top DnD. Progressed to Baulders gate, Icewindale, then Neverwinter Nights (quite a bit of RP there).  WoW, Guild Wars2 most recently.  Done 40 man raids, PvP (but not good).  Did a lot of WvW on Guild Wars2.  Comfortable with Ventro or like tools.  
 
Wife:  Well she started playing this online game called Ameba pigg. Wife is Japanse and this is a Japanese game.  Farming and home decoration kind of stuff. Tried to get her to play WoW but she did not like the fighting.  Just recently I got her to make a healer on Neverwinter since she didn't like the fights.  She seemed ok with that.  As we were lvling, found out she really liked the game and really enjoyed healer.  Even does a good amount of DPS on her own now.  Since English is not her first language, she doesn't chat but she usually talks through me.  You will hear her in the background shouting this or that in Japanese.  "nani? Nani? NANI?"  Lol.  
 
7) Briefly describe your most memorable moment while gaming.
 
Just started NWN and got into this RP server. My char befriended some others, and this Villan walks into the armory.  My friends started to have words with this Fighter type and I began to chime in.  I got so into that scene, my palms started to sweat.  When I asked my wife, she doesn't really have a "moment".  Not yet.  
 
8) How did you hear about Tyrs Paladium?
 
Google search.  We were in a guild but every time we logged on and I said hello, I got nothing back in reply.  Never seemed to be many online either.  
 
9) Do you agree to abide by our Guild Rules?
 
You betcha. They seem completely reasonable.  
 
10) How do you feel about participating in guild chat in the game, and the forums outside of game?
 
I'm totally fine with that.  But as I mentioned about, you won't hear as much from my wife.  Least not at first.  I'm hoping as she gets more comfortable with the community and the game she will open up more.  
 
Note:  
I know it wasn't asked here and it wasn't clear in the guild rules about "active".  Just so you know, we are on the game maybe 2 nights a week during the week and a few hours on weekends.  I'm sure if we found a fun place to hang out, meaning a guild, it would be more.  Hope that works for you guys.  If not, totally understand.  Thanks for considering us.

thanks all. Really appreciate the welcome. Looking forward to hanging with you guys in game. Please don't think my wife is not sociable. Her characters name is Kathra Stoneheart. As I mentioned above, English is not her native language so she's not a big chatter or talker. Besides, when were playing she can barely keep her character doing what she is supposed to without following the chat bar. haha. We will almost always be online at the same time though so if you need to give her a message you can always tell me. She is not ignoring you. She has never gamed before so this is all a bit much for her. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Oh, one more thing. She opted for Healer, killing was a bit to stressfull when she tried WoW. When your in party with her and you don't feel your getting the heals you should be, your probably not. lol. Trust me, she is trying her best.
